Hello every one hope so you all will be doing good work.. i want to ask a question i have got experimental results in which i have near field distribution around a nano-particle about one wavelength distance but that distribution has two lopes but when same thing i have simulated it gives me 3 or 4 lopes what can be the possible reasons of that??? how can i reduce them in my simulations???

yes i have used rectangular mesh. but in Lumerical it is hard to import the structure have you any idea how can import the exact structure?? so from the above point you wanted to say that FEM method can be proved best because it has other facilities of meshing not just rectangular right?? so which other FEM should be easier i have used COMSOL which not so easy.. have you any suggestions???
