How can I measure the encapsulation efficiency of my vesicles (size is arouns 200 nm) and which is best method to determine the same
Do you this centrifugation method will be applicable for this

Baunty, Encapsulation efficiency (EE %) = (Wt/Wi) ×100 % where W t is the total amount of material in the vesicle suspension and Wiis the total quantity of material added initially during preparation. I think, the particle exclusion chromatographic method is an excellent method for measurement of encapsulation efficiency.
Yes, you can use the centrifugation method. Briefly, after you load your drugs in your vesicle (you can use different methods of drug loading) you can centrifuge your sample suspension at high rpm (maybe 12000-15000). Then, collect your supernatant and resuspended your pellets. Measure the amount of drugs in your supernatant by using different techniques maybe, UV-VIS or HPLC. FINALLY, CALCULATE ENCAPSULATION EFFICIENCY USING THE FOLLOWING FORMULA
Encapsulation efficiency (%)= (Wi-Wf/wi)*100, where Wi-initial amount of drug you feed, Wf-amount of drugs in the supernatant.
you can check it by direct and indirect method using centrifugation, and even theough dialysis membrane.
