To suppress Japanese beetles, my lab has been using mass trapping involving a yellow capturing device, a 1 m-long sock made of mosquito netting and the key: the Japanese beetle pheromone in combination with a floral volatile. The 2-component is commercially available. Mass trapping alone has been working very well in blueberry and elderberry orchards. A push-pull  system can also be implemented combining mass trapping (= pull component) with kaolin clay (trade name: Surround) = push component. For your pest beetle, you will need to have access to the pheromone which seems to contain linalool. For more info, I can send you a poster with details. Cheers, Jaime

Dr. Alim. Please see papers Kulkarni et al., 2007 and 2009 in Insect Science and Kulkarni, 2010, you may search on internet. We in India manage it by Integrated method of trapping and luring to treated preferred host plants, with minimum quantity of insecticidal treatment of Imidacloprid on host plants, followed by phorate in nursery beds, in a planned manner. However, I also liked the suggestion of Jaime. Jaime, can I also get poster on Japanese beetle, which you discussed ?
