I find a journal in the list of Indexed Scopus journals (2014), but when i look for an article published in that journal i don't find it in the scopus web site!!! What's the problem ?
The problem is that when i search for the WSEAS Transactions on Signal Processing i find it in the scopus list and in SJR but if i take an article from it i don't find it in the scopus web site!!!
What does the coverage means? For example, a journal is listed in Scimagojr and Scopus list, but in coverage tab, it shows Scopus coverage years:from 2010 to 2014(coverage discontinued in Scopus). What does it means? Journal is not SJR anymore?
In think this issue of scopus or ISI often mislead researcher...And this not unconnected with many confusing database existing...It would have been better if there is a single database to check all these..
Sometimes it just takes time for the article to be indexed in SCOPUS. The articles of some journals simply take longer to be index in SCOPUS. I guess you need to be patient.
Scopus indexing is for the journal which you can easily check at https://www.scimagojr.com/journalsearch.php
However individual article which you can't find on Scopus can be found at Google Scholar, EBSCO, PROQUEST,etc.
The reason why an article from an indexed journal may not appear could be either because the article is not picked up by Scopus or it may not appear in your search result due to some filters. Try alternative search methods, as it will be indexed in Google Scholar whose source list is superset of the paid search engines.
