In the determination of a suitable solvent or mixture of solvents for the extraction process, the isolation of the analyte from the solvent is equally as important as every other factor. Paraffin is fairly stable even at high temperature and I doubt evaporation can be used without compromising the chemical nature of the analyte and it doesn't readily go into reaction with other substances. I would suggest you use another solvent that can easily be isolated for your extraction. Iwuozor

Use such a solvent in which paraffin is soluble and required compound to isolate is in-soluble

or

select a solvent such that your target compound have solubility in it and paraffin is insoluble.
