I am inexperienced person. I will give presentation/defence. I have to interpret experiment result? How can I interpret result section? Please help me anyone......
Based on my experiences, I think you don't have to explain how you obtain your results, instead, you highlight your data with significant variations. Use figures and plots, less tables, these are easy way for your audiences to follow you. Pointing out your key points is enough for them to understand how awesome your data is. Too much details will lose your audiences no matter they have background or not. Key points here, always leave details only for your committee members.
First, describe the figure (Let us see in dust increase oxidant level in cells)
What are you trying to show? Second, always explain your X axis and y axis.
X axis shows control (=/-) media, dust 1% , dust 5% etc
Y-axis shows the level of oxidants or cell death, toxicity, etc
Third, describe what is the significance/importance? key points of that figure. compared to media (normal) there was high or low level of oxidants when exposed to dust 1% dust 5% etc .
conclusion: we can see that as dust% increases, oxidants increases.
high level of oxidants could lead to membrane damages, therefore I checked for membrane damge.
When you present, make sure you explain in depth. It is the most important part of the presentation. Why you did it, how you did it, what you found, whats next.
