Problem Statement: Research shows how self-awareness can improve leadership performance, but the lack of studies on the effects of self-awareness on entrepreneurs prompts questions about its importance. This lack of research is believed to be the main reason that the importance of self-awareness is not promoted enough among entrepreneurs. This problem impacts most organizations because is believed that entrepreneurial self-awareness can improve their business’ performance. The most probable factor contributing to this problem is believed to be the possibility of entrepreneurial self-awareness not being correlated with the business’ performance. This study will contribute to the body of knowledge needed to address this problem by identifying if in fact this correlation exists.
