Hi,

you can generate automatic hex mesh easily, but you need to partition the cells to simple regular shapes. Most shapes can be cut up with a little practice and patience.

If you take a screen shot of which sections you are struggling with, I might be able to advise you by drawing on your picture how to try it.

You can never get hexahedra mesh on the brown partition. region being the triangular shape there due to partitioning or something else. you remove those triangular shapes

I think you are on the right track. I'ld try to cut it in lengthwise as well (and even think about if I can use symmetry to save half the effort!). And once you have halved it you can cut the individual cells slightly differently, I tried to mark it with red lines in paint. You might need to add an extra one, marked with the thin blue line. I think that should get you closer to the solution. Try to think about creating regular shapes with your section cuts, so cylinders, rectangular blocks, etc. You might have to try different strategies to get to your solution, but I'm pretty sure you can get this part to work, it is not that complicated.
