@Yuval @Rob Keller has rightly said that requesting the full-text from authors is a better approach to get access to full-text of a published manuscript. And being an author of several published manuscript (not open access), I'm always more than happy to share full-text with those who are interested.
In addition to the solutions suggested above, I would recommend that try reaching out to the author/authors through email because some people are not active on research gate and such people are more likely to reply faster when you make a request through email.
