In my work, the textures were determined by measuring three incomplete pole figures {110}, {200} and {211} in the back reflection mode by a Bruker D8 Discover X-ray diffractometer. The file formats are .raw, .rrw and .TXD. How can I use these files to generate the Grain Boundary Character Distribution (GBCD) around grains with specific orientations? An example is attached.

Interesting. I always thought you cannot say anything about grain boundaries if you do not know the spatial distribution of the grains. Especially when you only have incomplete pole figures which you need to extrapolate. Are you really sure that the displayed ODF sections are derived from an unknown texture and from XRD data?
