There are some algorithms that used with the satellite imagery to estimate LST. Moreover, such a measurement can be gained as a ready value from some satellite as a product, such as MODIS sensor. Land Surface Temperature/Emissivity is a product provided from MODIS, but with a coarse resolution. However, you may estimate LST from another satellite with a better resolution such as LandSat.
