LST is the minimum, average / mean, and maximum  temperature of the surface areas.

Urban Heat Island is the  high temperature in the urban areas, and  which is higher than the surrounding areas. It makes funnel shape air pressure in the atmosphere above the urban landscape. High temperature with low pressure in the bottom layer and low temperature with high air pressure upper layers.
