I need to know the future plan (R&D roadmap) of some countries for the 'power industry', especially in:
- India
- China
- Arab countries
- Australia
- Canada
- Brazil (or other South American countries)
It would be highly appreciated if you could share your knowledge and experiences in this matter and provide helpful reports of your country's initiatives.

In the Brazilian power sector there is an obligation for the generators to expend 1% of its net revenue on R&D programs. Please see this reference for more information: http://www2.aneel.gov.br/biblioteca/trabalhos/trabalhos/Artigo_Clelia_Guedes.pdf.
Unfortunately, the web site of the Brazilian regulator (http://www.aneel.gov.br/), with the R&D projects, is not in English.

Many thanks for your kind help. However, the information of the aforementioned report has focused more on the regulatory framework of R&D rather than the fundamental subjects of research. In fact, I am looking for the key R&D subjects in the future plan of Brazilian power sector.
