I am working on the liquid-phase exfoliation of graphite for synthesis of graphene.
I am unable to calculate the proper concentration of graphene in the dispersion. When I tried with vacuum filtration the yield was very low in comparison to what has been reported.
Please assist me in that regard.
You can use the UV-Vis spectra to determine the unknown conc. of the graphene solution (by using Beer-Lambert law). First you need to determine the molar extinction coefficient from a known concentration of graphene solution. Once you know the extinction coefficient you can easily get the concentration of graphene from a unknown solution.
But Problem in my case is that i am unable to find extinction coefficient because the concentration becomes very low at 660 nm. kindly guide me.
