Dear all,
Currently i m doing designing of corner water tube boiler but got stuck in finding heat transfer coefficient of flue gas side in water wall.
Actually water wall are vertical in this type of boiler.There are four water wall named front,rear,left and right water wall and in rectangular duct,flow of flue gas is passed with velocity having 2-3 m/s.i m not able to find correct heat transfer coefficient of flue gas side.Please suggest me how to solve this problem.

Check "Heat Transfer" textbook by Holman (Chapter 6) for the correlations of heat transfer coefficient. However, you will need to obtain the physical properties of the flue gas, e.g. density, and viscosity and these can be obtained from HYSYS or Aspen software. You will also need to know the temperature profile and composition of the flue gas in order to obtain accurate values of the physical properties.
