So, what you need is a programmer? How will you apply Software Engineering Techniques in bioinformatics? Are you interested in project management? Or, are you interested in algorithm development? How deep an examination of genetics and genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and epigenomics are you planning to engage?
As noted above, you need to provide a good deal more information (or ask a good number of well considered and posed questions) before you will be able to get even a fingernails worth of work done.
or you can share what papers you have read in the area or any future works you read in some publication on which you want to work. Thats an easy way to begin.
