Some researcher identified the pigment as "bikaverin". Could anyone give me some explanations about it? and how to extract this pigment? I'm looking forward this pigment has a good potential for some commercial uses. If you agree, what kind of commercial uses it would be?

for extraction of pigments you can use different combination of solvents and you can optimize. there is specific spectra of each color pigment check for you UV-VIS spectra and take optical density, as far purity is concern you may go for HPLC or HPTLC after chemically characterizing by FT-IR
You can obtain a sterile pigment by pulverizing the sample and then use a 0.22 µm pore size sterile filter to filter out any bacteria.
