Look for intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) based fluorophore coupled with a receptor, whose binding with analyte will enhance or reduce the ICT character. Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) with two-photon active donor or acceptor can also be used for ratiometric sensing purpose.

TPE increases it fluorescence emission upon self-aggregation. There are a number of examples in the literature that can give you some starting point for your design. See for example 1. J. Wu, W. Liu, J. Ge, H. Zhang, and P. Wang, Chem. Soc. Rev., 2011, 3483–3495.
