How to estimate the mineralogical composition (C3S, C2S, C3A, C4AF etc.) of cement? Is there any analytical instrument or can we estimate it from oxide composition?
dear Warda, I used the expression "if you are lucky" cause the quantification of those phases with the Reitveld method is not an easy task. Even the experts in the field tell you that accurate QPA on clinkers, cements, mortars, concrete is in several cases art and believing. Just remember that in most cases you have also the CSH (giving an amorphous-ish hump) and other crystalline phases that play a role in decreasing the accuracy
