I need high performance bifunctional metal-acid catalyst to promote conversion of lignin to cycloalkanes. I will use MOF based catalyst as the acid catalyst. However, the acidity type that is required is Bronsted acid. So, I have to functionalize MOF catalyst with sulfonic acid (SO3H).

The conversion process will be held in tetralin solvent at temperature between 200-300°C. It means that I have to enhance the thermal and chemical stability of MOF-SO3H catalyst. Can you suggest a method to enhance its thermal and chemical stability? Reference will be helpful.
