Guys, can anyone help me to do the cost analysis of a grid connected solar pv system.
How the depreciation factors will come in pic?
Can anyone give me a rough idea about the cost analysis and the calculation of the payback period of a system.

You can consider using PVSyst. Many developers use the PVSyst output for bank statement. However, it is a paid software. There are free alternatives such as the System Advisor Model.

I'm not sure if Payback period method is relevant here the reason being the Power supply is a capital budgeting problem and Net Present Value (NPV) or Internal Rate of Return (IRR) seems to be the ideal methods in case of capital budgeting problems.
