Hello everyone, I want to do Near to Far Field Transformation by using FDTD how can it be possible..I have a geometry of Metal Nanosphere and i want to perform NTFF Transformations, Can anyone help me out????
NF2FF is essentially a boundary condition problem where you need to sample the propagating wavefronts with sufficient resolution to exceed Nyquist requirements. Thus, if you were to use the FDTD to determine the radiating near field on a spherical surface around your object and then apply the NF2FF code, you should get the far field behavior without having to generate a far field grid.
Now, if you're asking how to do that with a specific set of tools, I can't really help you out there.
I'm no expert on the subject, but there are a few free modelling modules for this sort print.

NTFF method is generally used for the far-field RCS measurement. Its mathematical formulation is depended on the type of far-field calculation..mean whether u want to calculate for a range of frequencies in few points or for specific frequencies in a range of angle..please be specific@ Kaleem Ullah
