I have to do a cell viability assay using seawater samples. They asked me to prepare serial dilutions of the water samples to be used in the assay but I don't know which concentration is more convenient to use. It's the first time for me. Thanks

Further the strong saline matrix will definitely affect the performance of analytical procedure. How and to what level we perform the dilution is highly affected by the level of the concentration level. Thus a preliminary experiment may be carried out to have a rough estimation of analyte levels to bring the concentration of the various analytes to the acceptable region of the specific method of analysis...
