I am conducting community based cross sectional PhD study on mother and child malnutrition: Cause and its Health Consequences in Punjab, Pakistan.

My target population is mothers having one child age 6-23 months old.

For example the population of Punjab province (My Universe) comprised of 110 million population and how can I calculate my sample framework only 6-23 months children? I want to know about the actual target population of my study. After this I will be able to draw sample size with confidence.

Kindly help me to know about how many children will be my target population out of 110 million population.
