I am designing a pv system comprising of a pv panel, inverter, transformer and connection to the grid. I need an active filter (or even a passive) to reduce the amount of harmonics I have in the system.

Can you let me know why, after completing the circuit, have I a -ve current on my pv instead of a normal one?  Is there a way of correcting this fault?
