I have a model consists of 5 irregular components made by CT Scan and converted to surface and solid using CATIA. In order to do simulation I use ABAQUS. Because of some difficulties regarding merging and mesh creation I'm using Hypermesh for creating mesh. How can I do this since I am new to Hypermesh and I do not know how to create mesh for an irregular multiple solid model.

2nd order elements should give you enough precision (c2d10m if you have contacts otherwise try c3d10 ). But model will have lot of DOF's.
Another way is hexa mesh, but this work need lots of resources and skilled people to do it. It won't be cheap.
in hypermesh you should create a closed surface out of various surfaces that are sections of each part.
for example if you had 2 parts in contact (A and B), you need to first create three 2D surfaces. 1: Surface of A minus the surface in contact with B, 2: The surface of A and B in contact and 3: Surface of B minus the surface in contact with A.
These three surfaces must be in exact contact and will create your 3D mesh selecting two by two.
