For measuring hormones, I wanted to collect the leaves of directly connencted vascular systems at rosette stage. But, it seems like the plants are already flowering and the leaf orientation is not conspicous as in rosette though I still want to use them.
Does anybosy has any idea whether there is any way to count the leaf no. still?
You just have to count the leaves as it flowers and this will give flowering time

based on your information, you basically want to know the developmental stage of the leaves in your plant right? like which leaf is the first leaf or the second leaf.
I think the easiest way is to flip your plant and see it from the bottom, so you can see clearly the developmental stage pattern of your plant
I'd say counting the caulinary leaves at given points in time till flowering would suffice. You could simply mark them with a marker in order to avoid mistakes.
