Recently , I retrived the GPP of my study region , the GPP unit: g C m -2 year-1, I want to convert the crop(winter wheat) GPP to the production or yield to validate my result , but I can not get a good method. I had tried the harvest index method , However , the result was weird and I asked the professor Yuan Wenping , he told me that before converting, I should multiply the GPP value by 2 and then convert the unit. I am so confused and hope someone who know the process could tell me something
