I have measured rat serum ACE by Rat (Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme) ELISA kit , Elabscience Biotechnology Co., Ltd, WuHan, P.R.C.
According to this protocol ACE unit is ng/mL. But the traditional unit is U/L or μKat/L (http://accessmedicine.mhmedical.com/content.aspx?bookid=1069§ionid=60775149) which is normally use. please see the link.(http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10805420). So, how could I convert ng/ml to U/L?
Could any one give me the answer with reference.

The kit you are using is an ELISA kit. This allows you to detect the protein of interest (ACE) with an antibody. As such, the The OD value is proportional to the concentration of ACE.
There is no relationship between the concentration of an enzyme and its activity. Therefore, to measure ACE activity in U/L, you will need to perform an activity assay (http://www.thermoscientific.com/en/product/infinity-ace-assay.html)
