I am working on ballistic simulation. The first issue is how can i control hourglass for ceramic materials. Because if hourglass exceeded 10% of internal energy, the simulation will be invalid.
Type 4 or Type 6 , which is better for ceramic ?
And the second question ,if sliding energy is negative but still under control , does it matter for simulation results?

I'd encourage you to try with different type and compare the results. Because different types are valid for the different ballistic condition.
For your second question, I don't get the point of "under control". Presumably, you mean, FE analysis did not stop (or showing error) - sliding energy shouldn't be negative (although I am not quite sure about it).
