I am working on conjugation of Folic Acid to OH functional group of Oligochitosan. The only reason to use OH functional group is that I need NH functional group of Oligochitosan chain to be unaffected since I will use it then for some other reaction. I have gone through literature but didn't succeeded in finding a journal with folic acid conjugated to OH of chitosan. Can anybody recommend any articles?
Hi, Nauman...I worked and recently published an article on a similar conjugation...I have attached the Ferulic acid on hyaluronic acid...the compounds are different but maybe you can take ispiration. look in my articles (journal of materials chemistry B 2014)
