Hi, my work consists of determining the band gap of some absorbing particles in a glass matrix. As in the title, I need to study it in two conditions: inside a bulk glass (with the tauc plot) and inside the same glass but reduced to dust (with the kubelka-munk). Thanks to some other students before me, I know that is difficult to compare the two results and the band gap sometimes is substantially different.

Could you give me some advice? Maybe you have some article for me that talk specifically about this problem, or maybe you already dealt with it.
