I want to collect enough eggs from this Delphacidae species, and cannot find a more efficient way than using the rice seedling as the spawning ground. If anyone have any skills for handling the eggs of leafhoppers, that will also be very useful for me!

I work with spittlebug insects.
I did it with padi seed too.. use some plastic cagesto rear brown planthopper, and it good enough.
Thanks for your kind and interesting answer. According the video I know that the spittlebug can lay eggs into soil, but the Brown rice planthopper which insect I work with always lay the eggs into the leaves and stems of rice seedlings. So, I am curious about that if the spittlebug has the similar habit on laying eggs as planthoppers in the fields. In addtion, there is a way using a solution for eggs laying, but it is inefficient as we have tried .
