I want to calculate input impedance of rectifier using LSSP and HB simulator. Please go thorough attached figure and let me know if I am using LSSP then whether approach1 is ok or approach2 is ok? and how can I verify that I got correct value of Zin of rectifier. in Approach 3 I am using HB simulation and using equation zin=Vin/Iprobe1. Can you please tell why shouldn't I am getting same answer for Zin for both approaches? Thanks

An easy way to calculate the non-linear input impedance of a detector with HB in ADS is to use equations as shown in the attached document.
If you use LSSP (small signal or linear analysis) you can calculate Zin with the following equation
Zin1=PortZ*(1+S(1,1))/(1-S(1,1)

I think the easiest way to calculate the input impedance of any microwave network is to attach an input port (50Ohm) between the terminal you want to calculate the Zin, Then run S-parameter simulation over the desired band. S-param. simulation can also provide you Zin which represented by Z11.
