I synthesized metal nanoparticles using a plant extract and I want to test its toxicity so how can I know there count to make a design for toxicity experiment?
You can do theoretical estimation or a more accurate experimental determination. Which one are you interested?
if you want to calculate the concentration, I believe it is in solution, so if you know what type of metals you have, you may evaluate the concentration of the metal content by ICP.
Yes through Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) you can know the concentration of metals
(1) If the solution contains specific metal ions having specific size, you also use Lambert Beers law by using extinction coefficient according to the size.
(2) If you are not sure of the size, you may simply analyse through ICP-MS etc
