I am trying to develop a new methodology for ELISA immunoassay.
Systems using horseradish peroxidase (HRP) are already well developed and widely used either with chromogenic, chemifluorescent or chemiluminescent substrates.
The alternative enzyme, Alkaline Phosphatase (APT), is also widely used, specially with chromogenic substrates and rarely with alternative detection methods.
Which substrates would be suitable luminogenic candidates? And what could be used as light emission enhancer?

What I am trying to do is develop a brand new substrate for APT, possibly starting with 1,2 Dioxetane as base...
