Dear researchers,
As part of my interaction with a power plant manager, I was asked to choose from the underlisted topics:
a. Synthesis of flexible, low-temp thermoelectrics and heat exchangers
b. Nanostructured surface enhancement of spray cooling water vaporization processes
c. Reheat air combined cycles (RACC) .
Based on the outlined topics, kindly guide and advise me on the steps/guidelines to follow, material/journal/youtube/ and effective approach in exploring the topics.
I'd say you can find a lot of solutions in the following journals:
1. Int. J. of Heat and Mass Transfer
2. Applied Thermal Engineering
3. Int. J. of Thermal Sciences
4. Fuel
5. Progress in Energy and Combustion Science
I'd go for the first two options, but the first one seems the most appealing as low temperature heat recovery is apparently the greenest one. In my opinion nanotechnologies are not mature enough to be implemented in the industrial installations and processes. The last option seems the most robust but one will always have to deal with heat losses. Maybe coupling 1 and 2 can get to some real progress. Maybe PCMs can be also an alternative but one would have to deal with high viscosity changes.
