1. Identify the film’s main argument and/or purpose.
2. Provide a brief summary of the film and the “main characters” in and “plot” of the film.
3. Examine how the film’s argument is supported through rhetorical and persuasive strategies (e.g., presentation of facts, dismissing the credibility of counterfactual information, not addressing certain related issues, etc.).
4. How does the structure of the film help achieve its purpose?
5. How valid is the argument? Does the argument contain fallacies, contradictions, or inconsistencies?
the last three components are the Most Important and reflect your Argument. in these parts I think you will need to check more researches that Support your Idea and Argument.
There are many approaches of analysing a film involving content, its aesthetics and technicalities as well. Film is a complex art form and film analysis is not complete without detailing its mise-en-scène, cinematography, sound, and editing etc. to understand the film analysis, You must read "How to read a film" by James Monaco.
I believe, you analysis is more like a content analysis where it is important to watch whole film in reference to its theme and film synopsis. Please read the synopsis of film and then watch the film as if you are reading a text. Much of your analysis will depend upon the film's narration, characters interaction and there might be many symbolic visuals where you may not find any narration but they have intellectual meanings. You have to contextualise and deduct meaning out of those visuals as per narrative.
