Within this project we are working on impact measurement tools regarding the increase of self-confidence and trust of the participants of the workshops. We are currently looking for references and suggestions on subjective and objective measures of confidence and trust.
I would suggest something that may be of importance for you on this. When it comes to student "critical thinking", the research is increasingly leading us to the understanding that there is not really such a thing as "generic critical thinking". The closest way to get to that is probably through logic.
However, here is the point I believe will be of use to you. This "domain-specificity" of critical thinking will be important to consider in whatever tool you go with because if unaccounted for it is unlikely that the "critical thinking" confidence measured will be consistent across domains - that is, disciplines (there is a good piece exploring that by Tricot & Sweller, 2014 - I forget the exact title but if you look up there names the year and domain specific skills you should find it).
