Many species of macrofungi which are found in the subtropical plainlands, which many times are found to co-occur in a particular type to forest ecosystem are known to be present in another type of forest ecosystem in hills, though the 'co-occurence' is lost. Certainly, vegetation has a role to play here, but if altitude and aspect has any role in such such kind of incidence.
If the mentioned variables are not significant for my question or 'macrofungi', then in what direction I can look for the explanation?
