I was reading many PCR protocols where I found that 100 pmol = 100uM. I am unable to understand this conversion as I found in google that 1pmol = 1000000 micromol.
I would assume that 100pM is an absolute amount of material but the 100uM is confusingly referring to the concentration of the material not the amount of material and is 100 micro molar. For instance 100nanomoles in 1ml is a concentration of 100micro molar concentration
