"We know that a metal have 3 difraction peaks with FWHM of 0.0035°, 0.045° and 0.0055°. Calculate the size grain if we use λ = 1.54 Å".
I can't find an answer how to calculate this. The problem give no anymore thing, and no diagram or anything more.
open the below link and try to find your grain size....

You have to use the Debye-Scherrer formula.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scherrer_equation
Two comments:
a) you will get an estimate of crystallite size, not on grain size;
b) you have to correct your peak width by the instrumental broadening when going into the Scherrer equation or Williamsen-Hall plot.
The link given above by Muhammad does not do that. For discussion of instrumental broadening please see:
https://www.researchgate.net/post/How_to_calculate_the_instrumental_broadening_bi_in_the_observed_XRD_pattern_for_the_W_H_plot2
An introduction to crystallite size estimation is found here:
http://prism.mit.edu/xray/oldsite/CrystalSizeAnalysis.pdf
There are a lot of discussions on that topic; for example:
https://www.researchgate.net/post/Formula_for_calculating_crystallite_size_and_lattice_strain_using_XRD_data
I would like to know how to register the journal Flora Montiberica (ISSN 1138-5952 - eISSN 1988-799X) in Research Gate.
