When we try to isolate DNA and amplify it, the DNA of the bacteria embedded in the sheaths also gets amplified. How can this be avoided, or how can these bacteria be eliminated?
I need to know the cyanobacterial species you are working to get an idea of the amount of sheath and the protocol to be used
The cyanobacterial species belong to Lyngbya, Phormidium, Limnothrix, Nostoc etc. The amount of sheath in these varies.
I am on the lookout for the Enhanced Yellow Fluorescent Protein (Aequorea victoria) DNA sequence. Does anyone know where I can find it? Thank you in advance
