I came across different definitions of low, moderate and high growth, but I have not been able to find a reliable reference to cite where these definitions are presented.
Some suggest adding up the total score, and they define scores below 45 as none to low, and scores above 46 moderate to high. Others suggest summing up all the scores and calculating a mean score, which they later group as 1-3, 3-4, and 4-6 as low, moderate, and high, respectively.
Any references would be highly appreciated.
I'm looking for similar information, so please do post if you find a guideline for low, moderate, and high scores.

In the above article, PTG was grouped as low or moderate-to-high by the mean score of the PTGI, and the cut off score was 3.
The same cut-off score was used in the following article as well:

On the other hand, the following article used the total score to define PTG, where the authors wrote: "A cutoff point regarding PTG level was determined as follow: scores of 45 and below represented none to low PTG levels, whereas scores of 46 and above represented medium to very high PTG levels."

do you know if there are any cutoff scores for the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory Short Form (Cann et al., 2009)? I could not find any, only for the long form.
