Some of the institutions usually encourage a systematic form of methodological use, may be not suited for all the contexts and groups. How Research & Ethics committee may help researchers in avoiding the possible epistemic violence, where people usually engage in getting their work addressed in some of the high impact factor journals which university and institutions prefer?
For me it is a matter of understanding the fundamentals of life, growth, freedom and evolution. Why? From biology this is explained as the maintenance of autopoietic cycles and their adaptation to the environment. On the other hand from physics, it is treated as the adaptation of designs to efficiency in the passage of vital flows.
In this way, by conceiving life as a universal property and not only as a human (or purely biological) condition, the role of research can be better understood as a flow that has interdefinition with the environment (impossible to limit its externalities ).
Therefore, some strategies for ethics committees in the management of research would be: to opt for high-level languages (understandable to all), to promote second-order knowledge in the framework of complexity, to allow the splicing of avant-garde knowledge with ancestral (outside the scientific Eurocentrism) and correlate the deployment of science towards technology with local contexts.
In my opinion, to avoid that this happens is to adopt an ethical code of conduct to be applied to all research activities.
