In my future experiments, I will need to protect my radiation measurement equipment with thermal insulation layer (about 3cm thick) which has to protect the equipment from min. 2000°C heat, but it has to let all the radiation particles pass through (Alpha, beta, gamma if any). Any suggestion on type of material to use (Alumina ceramic foam, metal foam, other)?
