Iam on Microbiology master program and will start working on my thesis this summer semester, for specialists who worked on Giardia and Cryptosporidium DNA extraction from dogs and cats fecal samples please tell me the best method worked with you? Any recommendation? If you recommend for me more papers to read I will be so thankful but I need practical answers to guide me.
If you are looking for methods for DNA extraction there are kit available to extract DNA from Fecal sample (Qiagen) or soil sample.
Cryptosporidium is more difficult 7 challenging to work compare to Giardia .
there are many paper on line look for extraction DNA from Fecal sample.

If you interested for DNA extraction from Fecal sample you can choose Qiagen mini DNA isolation kit for blood/ urine /Fecal sample kit. And follow the manufacturer instruction for Giradia and for Cryptosporidium you can take advantage from Chromous Biotech pvt.ltd, Bangalore Karnataka India
