Hi, does anyone have an idea on how to purify a molecule with free thiol function without risking its oxidation?

I am interested in getting pure molecules with free thiol but the problem is that during the synthesis I always get a mixture of free thiols and disulphide bridge. After the purification on silica, all the thiol is oxidizide and I don't get any free thiol function.

Is there any other way to purify it?

I should add that both, the molecule with free thiol and disulphide bridge, are very apolar.
