I developed two plates by using solvent system of Ethylene acetate: toluene:formic acid: methanol(15:20:10:10:1). After that plates were analysed with UV 254nm . Initially plate was ok I attach below the picture but later there was a dark background at the bottom of plate with uv 254nm .. can anybody tell me how can I eliminate this error? Thanks
