the flow meters used are rota-meter, venturi meter , orifice plate, and sudden enlargement. i calculated the following for each of the listed flow meters - velocity head, head loss,and mean velocity.
for the mean velocity, the values i got for each of the flow meters were increasing but the value for orifice was higher followed by venturi then sudden enlargement.
for the velocity head, the same thing also happened, there was increase in all of the flow meters but the values i got for orifice was higher followed by the venturi then the orifice
for the head loss the same thing happened
NOTE the following, time was constant and the general flow rate that was gotten from the apparatus used was also increasing. please how discuss this result gotten

To make sure my understanding is correct, you tested different flow meters (variable area ["rotameter"], venturi, orifice) and from that test data, you calculated the mean velocity, the velocity head, and the permanent pressure loss (“headloss”).
What I don't understand is, “... the values I got for each of the flow meters were increasing, but the value for orifice was higher, followed by venturi, then sudden enlargement.” I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what you observed/calculated and why this was surprising or troubling.
The fact that you calculated increased velocity and saw increasing velocity head and permanent pressure loss values is entirely consistent: Velocity head is proportional to the square of velocity and increasing headloss should track linearly with increasing velocity head.
